The 11-minute video, posted on Navalny’s YouTube channel on Wednesday, Aug. 10, tells how the employee settled in Miami before joining the service and provided his daughters with American passports.

According to investigators, in the six years prior to his appointment to the Ministry of Defense, Krivoruchko visited the United States 26 times, mostly in Miami. In 2011, he opened the company 5256 Fisher Island Drive, where he registered the apartment and made repairs to it. An apartment of 255 square meters is estimated at several million dollars. Later, Krivoruchko rewrote it for an employee of his company, Mikhail Tiraturyan. As Bloomberg reported in 2018, Tiraturyan was supposed to establish sales in the United States of products from the Russian company Kalashnikov, led by Krivoruchko.

On trips to Miami, the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation was often accompanied by his wife – the owner of the title “Miss Moscow-2001” Ekaterina Toropova, who in 2007 received a passport in her husband’s surname. Navalny’s team discovered that on August 4, 2012, a daughter, Sophia, was born to their spouses in the United States, which made it possible to obtain American citizenship.
