He ruled out a new lockdown.

“I’m almost convinced that no one else thinks of this. We are in such a deep economic crisis that such a lockdown will only lead to a catastrophic crisis, and then all these measures will be ineffective. It is better to be balanced, to give clear recommendations, to take medical measures if necessary and to avoid such an approach, which many times seemed to me unprofessional in terms of information transfer,” said Alexandrou Rafila, on Digi 24.

The minister clarified that schools will no longer be closed, but they will monitor the degree of occupancy of hospital beds.
