The number of Romanians vaccinated against COVID-19 is increasing, considering the fact that we are already in the 6th wave of the pandemic and the number of cases is increasing every day. Most people who get vaccinated get their third or fourth dose, but recently there has also been an increase in the number of people getting their first and second doses.
If a month ago, for example, the number of people who were vaccinated with the first dose per week was about 300-400, then in the last week 700 Romanians were vaccinated with the first dose.
How many Romanians have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the last week – data published by the National Center for Infectious Disease Surveillance and Control of the National Institute of Public Health:
- 1 dose – 700 vaccinated
- 2nd dose – 886 vaccinated
- 3rd dose – 1,901 people were vaccinated
- 4th dose – 1660 vaccinated
- A total of 5,147 people were vaccinated in the last week
As a reminder, since July 1, all vaccination points are closed, and vaccination against COVID-19 can only be done in the offices of family doctors.
