“It is with great sadness (we announce) that after a long suffering, our dear David (Crose) Crosby has passed away. He was surrounded by love by his wife and soulmate Jan and son Django,” the Crosby family said in a statement obtained by CNN from a spokesperson.
“Although he is no longer with us, his humanity and gentle soul will continue to guide and inspire us. His legacy will live on through his legendary music,” the source was quoted as saying.
