
Bad news for those who loved him Henry Cavill like a cinematic “Superman”, as he won’t be donning the DC superhero cape anymore – at least not anytime soon.
The actor told how will not play Superman in the upcoming film which is in the works via social media posting.

“I just had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and the news is bad people,” we read in Cavill’s related post. And continues: “Ultimately, I will not return as Superman. After the studio told me to announce my comeback back in October.”
As the 39-year-old actor admitted, this development was not so easy for him, but, as he says, “Changing of the guard happens. I respect it. James and Peter have to build an entire universe. I wish them and everyone involved in this new universe the best of luck.”
A little later the director James Gunn in turn, revealed what the future of “Superman” in the 10-year plan of the DC Extended Universe: “In the early stages, we will focus on the earlier part of Superman’s life, so Henry Cavill will not play the role.”
However, the director left open the possibility of Cavill dressing up as Superman again: “We just had a great meeting with Henry and we are big fans of him. we talked about the exciting possibility of working together in the future.”<
