32-year-old American artist Taylor Swift is writing the script for the first feature film that she will direct. The project is being prepared in Hollywood, the production company Searchlight Pictures announced on Friday, AFP reports, Agerpres reports.

“Taylor is an artist and writer who is unique in her own way. It is a true joy and privilege to partner with her as she embarks on this new and passionate creative adventure,” said Searchlight Pictures presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield.

The 32-year-old American actress is no stranger to the seventh art, having previously written and directed a short film titled “All Too Well: The Short Film,” which won and was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award. Nomination for “Oscar” in the category “best short film”.

In September, at the International Film Festival in Toronto, Taylor Swift spoke about her desire to make a feature film.
