
Jean-Luc Godard, one of the outstanding directors of the “new turmoil” and the entire world of cinema, has died at the age of 91.

He was introduced to the big screen in 1960 with “Me Kommeni Tin Anasa” and has left an indelible mark on the seventh art ever since. Along with François Truffaut, Eric Romer and Claude Chabrol, he pioneered the new uncertainty, that is, the French New Wave, which brought a spirit of renewal and doubt to the art of cinema.
He made films until the end of his life, and some of his most iconic works are “Contempt”, “Chinese Woman”, “Alfaville”, “Mad Pierrot”, “She Survived”.
