The Railway Reform Authority (ARZ) informs that today, January 25, 2023, a meeting of the Evaluation Commission appointed as part of the tender for the purchase of 62 electric short-circuit frames (RE-R) was held in order to open the submitted proposals.
Thus, the companies that submitted documentation for all three lots:
– POJAZDY SZYNOWE PESA BYDGOSZCZ SPOLKA AKCYJNA (POLAND);
– SC ALSTOM TRANSPORT SA (FRANCE).
The short-circuit electric frames purchased by ARF are financed by non-refundable European funds under the Transport Program 2021-2027, and the estimated total cost is between 3,237,711,753 and 4,150,288,451 lei without VAT.
The contract is divided into three lots as follows:
Lot 1 – 20 RE-R regional electric frames for passenger rail transport on the routes Bucharest N – Ploești S – Adjud, Iași – Pascani – Suceava, Bacău – Pascani and the estimated value is between 1,044,933,546 and 1,339,0.823 526 lei. , without VAT.
Lot 2 – 23 regional RE-R electric frames intended for rail passenger transport, on the routes Brasov – Georgeni, Arad – Timisoara – Caransebes, Huedin – Cluj – Bistrica, estimated value from 1,208,571,156 to 1,554,592,210 lei excl. VAT
Lot 3 – 19 RE-R regional electric frames intended for rail passenger transport on the routes Bucharest N – Ploiesti V – Brasov, Bucharest N – Rosiori, Bucharest N – Bucharest Obor/Fundulea, Constanța – Fetesti and the estimated value is inclusive of 984,207,051 to 1,255,872,715 lei, excluding VAT.
After opening the proposals, the commission will begin their evaluation in accordance with the current legislation and the requirements of the specifications.
