Dacia has announced the launch of the “Extreme” version of the Spring electric vehicle, which will have a 65 hp/48 kW engine, almost 50% more powerful than the “Essential” version. The promised autonomy in the mixed cycle is 220 km, and the price starts from 22,450 euros without Rabla Plus subsidies.
The Spring Extreme can be ordered from the network of authorized Dacia representatives in Romania from January 16, and the first deliveries will take place by the middle of the year.
Dacia launched the Chinese-made Spring model at the end of 2021 and received more than 100,000 orders.
Equipped with the ELECTRIC 65 engine, the Spring Extreme has an autonomy of 220 km in the mixed cycle WLTP (and 305 km in the urban cycle WLTP).
The Extreme version replaces the Expression trim level in the Spring lineup.
The ELECTRIC 45 engine (45 hp/33 kW) will continue to be available on the Essential trim level, where prices start at €20,800.
“With the release of the Extreme version, Dacia presents the new ELECTRIC 65 engine (65 hp/48 kW). The new engine, available only at this trim level, combined with a new special gear transmission offers more energetic acceleration and gear changes in an extended range of use,” say Dacia representatives.
Under the name Extreme, Dacia presents a new version of the Spring model. Approaching the exterior register, this level of equipment will be available in the future for four models of the brand (Spring, Sandero, Duster and Jogger).
The Spring Extreme debuts in a new Slate Blue body color and a number of exclusive design elements:
Outside:
- The housings of the rear-view mirrors are painted in Copper Brown color. The same shade can be found on the flags, on the ornaments under the optical units, on the wheel caps and on the Dacia logo on the tailgate.
- The front doors are decorated with a stripe reminiscent of the signature Duster model, located between the doors and the front fenders.
Within:
- Specific ornament for thresholds.
- Rubber mats with a special lining for the front seats.
- The contour of the ventilation holes and the dashboard is made in copper-brown color.
- The material that covers the seats has visible seams in copper brown, and the Dacia Link logo is printed on the back of the front seats.
