According to a study published on Thursday and cited by Agerpres, one in three Romanians would change jobs for an additional salary, but even more would do so for a higher salary.
According to the “Employee Sentiment 2023” study conducted by MKOR Consulting, three out of ten respondents said they would give up their current job for more job security, while more than half of the study participants believe they have no reason to be concerned about work in 2023.
At the same time, in addition to job security, in the period October 2021 – October 2022, other aspects of professional life remained unchanged in the perception of employees, such as: development opportunities (59%), salary package (52%), benefits (63%) and flexible work regime (61%).
On the other hand, four out of ten people experienced changes in perceived workload, which increased, and the change in the degree of workload occurred in a context where the number of colleagues remained the same for more than half (55%) of respondents.
In addition, low morale in the team is especially felt by people with low incomes (53%) and those who have children (45%).
However, even if a job change is not planned at the beginning of 2023 for one in two workers, they will still be willing to accept a new cooperation offer for a more competitive salary (7 out of 10 workers), more additional benefits (35%) and a higher level of security work (28%).
The data contained in the specialized study is taken from the “Employee Attitudes 2023” study conducted by MKOR Consulting through the MKOR Panel in November 2022 on a sample of 530 respondents aged 18 to 65.
