According to company representatives, Hidroelectrica will send bills to customers in early February. As a reminder, Romanians who have power supply contracts with Hidroelectrica have not received bills for consumption in June since October.
- “Invoices are sent every day, tens of thousands of invoices are sent.
- In February, in principle, we expect everything to return to normal with all customers, in the hope that there will be no further legislative changes.
- The billing process started last year – everything is already automated,” Hidroelectrica President Bohdan Badia told Știrile Pro TV.
Hidroelectrica was overwhelmed by the large number of switchers from other energy suppliers, unable to cope with the huge number of customers, which blocked the billing system.
If the payment amount is too high, people will also be able to pay the bill in installments, but this will require an application, the company said. The request can be sent to the e-mail address [email protected] or sent to the Hidroelectrica offices.
The payment can be spread over a maximum of 6 monthly installments of equal amounts, and during this period the current bills must be paid together with the installment payments.
A sample application for residential customers is available here, and a typical application form for non-residential customers is available here.
