Municipalities throughout the country have problems with financing operational expenses (wages, public lighting and its maintenance, sanitation, etc.), judgments, project co-financing or thermal energy insurance, so the government on Monday will approve the release of 924.3 million lei from reserves.
- “In the conditions of the current economic situation, territorial units face special problems regarding the provision of sources of financing for current and capital expenditures.
- Therefore, funding cannot be provided for some categories of strictly necessary expenses, such as operating expenses (salaries, public lighting and maintenance, sanitation, etc.), judgments, project co-financing, heat insurance, financial corrections, and capital expenses as other unforeseen expenses.”, This is stated in the justification of the draft DG of the Government’s agenda.
