Favorite varieties of whiskey of collectors and investors, rare wines or collectible champagne gathered at the traditional Christmas auction, dedicated to vintage and rare drinks that will decorate any festive table or give as a gift. 200 Rare Whiskeys and Collectible Wines Auction is also an attractive form of investment given the limited edition, age and affordable price, approx. 30-50% of the market price of Romanian and international wines.

The most valuable whiskey in the auction, a very rare Macallan edition, has a starting price of €6,000. The Macallan Samaroli was bottled by RW Duthie in 1984 specifically for Osteria Apostoli in Milan. Samaroli is perhaps the most respected independent whiskey bottler in Italy. Auctioned at a starting price of €4,000 is a rare 1980 Macallan 2-litre edition, as well as a 1958 Jubilee Macallan Unblended Edition, accompanied by its original box, making an ideal gift for a collector.

The collectible wine segment is represented by the impressive Romanée-Conti, Échézeaux 1996. The vintage example was produced in a limited edition numbered 3776. Romanée-Conti wines are currently fetching record prices around the world, and the auctioned example has a starting price. from 1000 euros. The December 13 auction will also bring together a selection of investment-value wines with much better profit margins than many other volatile assets. Wine investments can be made on December 13 with a batch of 6 bottles of Château Monbrison Margaux 2013 starting at just €150 or a wide selection of French Bordeaux wines starting at €40. and 150 euros.

With thousands of years of tradition in vine growing and wine production, France offers us one of the finest wines in the world – Chateau Saint Michel Rivesaltes, which is also the oldest example at auction on December 13. The 1945 wine has a starting price of only 100 euros and is accompanied by the original box.

A special selection of collectible whiskeys, wines and champagnes is stored in the cellar of Palatul Cesianu-Racoviță and can be visited until next week, Tuesday 13 December, before being auctioned in the auction room at the Artmark headquarters on CA Street.
