
According to ACAROM, the combined production of Dacia and Ford in Romania exceeded 425,000 vehicles in the first ten months of the year, an increase of 27% compared to the same period in 2021. At this rate, the total volume may approach 500,000 cars by the end of the year.
Dacia accounts for 60% of national car production, Ford – 40%.
In October 2022, 43,452 cars were produced in Romania. Of these, 28,941 units were produced at the Dacia plant in Mioven and 14,511 units were produced at the Ford plant in Craiova.
In the first ten months of 2022, the production of passenger cars in Romania reached 425,423 units (258,569 Dacia + 166,404 Ford):
- by +27.7% compared to the same period of 2021 (333,179 units)
- by +19.35% compared to the same period of 2020 (356,421 units)
- by +4.3% compared to the same period of 2019 (407,931 units)
