The Board of Directors (CA) of SRTv at its meeting on Tuesday approved the budget for Romania’s participation in Eurovision 2023. The members of the Board unanimously voted to allocate the necessary resources for the organization of the national selection, the preparation of Romania’s show for the international competition and the team’s trip to Great Britain.
Romania’s Eurovision team offers a new approach to this year’s National Selection: “We are a new team and we offer a different Eurovision contest, based on transparency, professionalism and digitization. We have changed the voting system: only the public will choose the work that will represent Romania. And one more thing: this Eurovision will be on the air, on TVR and will be much more present than the past on the Internet, in social networks,” said Mihai Predescu, head of the ESC 2023 project, according to News.ro.
In the coming days, the team will finalize all the details related to the registration at the National Selection and will inform them as soon as possible: “The registration period for the competition will start soon, come with us!”, Mihai Predescu’s appeal to the composers.
