Amazon warehouse workers in the United States voted against the Amazon Workers Union (ALU) coming to their workplaces on Tuesday, a setback for the organization that surprised earlier this year by becoming the first union to prevail at the online retail giant. writes AFP.
According to an online count, 406 employees at a warehouse called ALB1 in Albany, the New York state capital, voted “no” when asked if they wanted ALU representation, while 206 voted “yes.” Voter turnout was 68%.
