Romanians who want to replace light bulbs at home with energy-saving ones can apply for vouchers from the Rabla light bulb program, for which the authorities are proposing a budget of 400 million lei.
The program is similar to the program for household appliances and will allow you to buy LED lamps.
“With the received voucher, go to a store that has registered in the AFM program to be an agent selling the corresponding bulbs. We will strictly address LED bulbs, which reduce consumption by up to 70%, and by receiving this voucher and the old bulb, they will be able to purchase new bulbs that will significantly reduce consumption in the household,” explained Environment Minister Tanchos. Barna, quoted by Agerpres.
He said the Environment Fund Administration (AFM) had developed a Rabla Light Bulb Guide and a budget amendment for the AFM, which would include a budget for Rabla bulbs, would be included in a Cabinet meeting, likely next week.
“According to the Coalition’s provisions and following discussions with the Prime Minister, the AFM has developed a Guide for Rabelais on light bulbs. I have prepared amendments to the budget, which will be brought to the Government meeting, possibly next week, at the first meeting of the Government. The amount we have proposed is 400 million lei, and the Guide will probably appear in the coming days, during public consultation, on the website of the ministry,” said Barna Tanchos.
The Rabla light bulb program was discussed in the context of the energy reduction measures that followed the decision to cap electricity prices.
