Couriers will report to ANAF details of people who have received refunds (after delivery) for products ordered online. An emergency decree (67/2022) was recently issued to regulate this, and on Wednesday the order of the tax service appeared in the Official Gazette.
In practice, courier companies will have to fill out form (395), which has the title: Information certificate about postal items with cash on delivery sent by postal operators in the country.
It will be submitted monthly by electronic means of remote transmission to the e-government portal.
The data will be stored by ANAF for 5 years from the date of receipt, after which it will be automatically deleted at the end of this period.
What information will be sent to ANAF
Postal information concerns:
• registration number and date of shipment;
• identification data of the sender;
• name and surname for individuals and name for legal entities of the recipient;
• shipping and delivery addresses;
• the cost of the delivered goods.
