Apple has announced that starting October 5, App Store apps and various things bought in some apps will be more expensive. The increase will be about 20% and will affect countries with the euro currency, as well as other states.
For example, something that costs €0.99 will cost €1.19, and an app that costs €9.99 will cost €11.99.
Apple periodically adjusts App Store prices based on inflation and other factors. There were also cases when programs became cheaper (but not much).
In Europe, the price increase will apply in countries with the euro currency, as well as in Sweden and Poland. Price increases will also be observed in large markets outside Europe: Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Pakistan, Malaysia.
In Vietnam, the price increase is due to new legislation that aims to collect taxes from consumers as fully as possible.
