The Tezaur program, government securities for the public that can be purchased through the Romanian Treasury or Post Office (or online through the SPV), continues in September with interest rates of 7.75% for 1 year and 7.9% for 2 years. We remind you that in August there was only one issue with a term of 1 year with a rate of 8.25%.
Those interested can start the subscription from Thursday – September 1.
The deadline for the September Treasury is the 28th.
Government bonds issued under the Treasury Program are transferable and may be redeemed early. An investor can make one or more subscriptions within the issue. Investors have the option to cancel already issued subscriptions only during the subscription period by submitting an application.
Individuals over the age of 18 on the date of subscription may participate. Income received from investing in a savings offer launched by the Ministry of Finance is not taxed.
