What rights you have in relation to electricity and gas suppliers, how to choose the best offer or how to understand the information on the bill. These are some of the goals of the media campaign that ANRE will soon launch, both on television and on the Internet and social media.

On Friday, NARE announced who won the auction, which started this spring, in a complete scandal of energy and gas billsfor carrying out a media and information campaign.

How will the media campaign take place and who will be the winner of the tender

According to ANRE, “the aim of the campaign is to familiarize end users with the rights they have in relation to energy suppliers, including those provided for in the Electricity/Natural Gas Supply Performance Standard, the most important aspects related to the choice of a supply offer electricity or natural gas, as well as understanding the information provided in the bill. Knowing and respecting these rights are allies of consumers, especially in the current situation on the energy market.”

The campaign is aimed at approx. 9.8 million consumers of electricity and more than 4 million consumers of natural gas and will take place from the second half of August both in the audiovisual environment, through the broadcast of audio and video clips, and in the online environment – online and social networks.

In the audiovisual segment, the campaign will consist of two parts, the second is planned for October-November. The entire campaign will end on November 30, 2022.

Concept, distribution and promotion are carried out by the company All Media Company SRLthe winning company of the auction organized by the authorities during this year.

NARE also notes that it will conduct such communication campaigns annually, in accordance with the law.

Data from Electronic system of public procurement (SEAP) shows that ANRE has put this contract up for auction at an estimated price 3 million lei (without VAT) and received the following 4 offers:

  • 1. Photomedia EM360 (one supplier)
  • 2. Media Consulta International (the only member)
  • 3. All Media Company (the only member)
  • 4. Association of MY Secret Treasure (leader), Adviana Development (offer) and Dentsu Romania (third party).

at the end the contract was won this summer All Media Company by price 2.07 million lei.
