
New service Sixth charge aims to simplify the entire charging process for its customers, relying on the partnership with the Volkswagen Group and the infrastructure of its subsidiary Ellie.
Partnership between Elli and Sixt charger network
Sixt Charge is available in the Sixt app in Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourgbefore rolling out in the coming months to other European countries, increasing the number of Elli charging stations available via the app.

Thanks to this new service, Sixt customers will have access to the Elli network, which includes more than 650,000 charging points in 29 countries : this is one of the biggest charging networks in Europe. Constantly expanding, Elli’s European network grew by 44% last year.
The Sixt Charge app: how does it work?
L’The sixth appendix provides brand customers with the opportunity to access the service Sixth charge : it allows you to select a charger, connect and activate charging directly from the app, without requiring an RFID card for identification at the terminal. Sixt Charge can also be used whether you are renting a vehicle or not, to give your customers a complete experience.
In practice, you just need download the program Sixt in the Apple App Store or Google Play for Android users, then sign up using your credit card details. After creating a customer account, you can use the service directly from the application.
In the app, simply go to the “Payment” tab to display a list of cards all charging stations. Select your charging station and then you can view additional information about it (location, price, type of sockets, etc.): the Sixt app will also help you get there.
Once there, simply connect your car to the terminal and press a button “Start charging” in addition At the end of the refill, do not forget to press “End Session” before turning off the car: Sixt will inform you of the price that will be debited from your account.
