A real success
For several years Chinese manufacturers arrive en masse on European soil to experience happiness. Among them, we mention in particular the MG, which has been a hit since its launch here in 2020 thanks to its electric compactness. So, last July, the company sold more Tesla cars across the Old Continent. But what is the secret of such successful work of the latter? In fact, the Chinese firm o SAIC Group, managed to gain a foothold in Europe thanks to a combination of strategic factors and competitive products. In particular, the company managed to collect a complete assortment in a relatively short time. This speed of development allowed the company to meet the needs of European consumers, in particular regarding electric cars. The electric MG4 was a success, contributing to the brand’s growth in Europe. But that’s not all, because it also benefits from its heritage, as MG was an English manufacturer until its takeover in 2007.
There is an exception to the end of sales of diesel cars in 2035, voted by the European Parliament: luxury cars (Ferrari, etc.). Of course, there are not many of them, so the emissions will be limited, but for the symbol and social justice, it will be necessary to return pic.twitter.com/6gPS9lc6ZE

A magical recipe
In addition, MG managed to find a unique positioning. It manages to follow well-known manufacturers such as Seat and at the same time stay ahead of recent competitors such as Kupra and Suzuki. Its success has been staggering, with an impressive 105% increase in sales compared to 2022. The brand was also able to use its experience in the field of electric vehicles, offering affordable and efficient models. Arrival in MG3 Hybrid+ Recently presented at the Geneva Motor Show, it should further strengthen its position in the European market. MG Motor France recorded 4,408 registrations thanks to sales of the MG4 and MG ZS electric models. The firm even plans to establish a production plant in Europe, which will strengthen its local presence and competitiveness. In short, MG was able to combine speed, reputation, strategic positioning and focus on electrification to succeed in Europe. While other Chinese companies are also looking to establish themselves, MG is currently a unique success story on the Old Continent.
