Inspection of two-wheelers: bikers call for a boycott of Auto Plus news centers in your smartphone

New action

When you own a car, you are strictly obliged to have it inspected every two years. An unmissable event for all cars over four years old, the absence of which can be severely punished by law. But the government wants to go further and make this visit mandatory for two-wheelers as well. Therefore, this measure will enter into force from next April 15, but it obviously doesn’t appeal to those who are primarily interested. Thus, the French Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC) decided to step up action against this obligation, which is considered unnecessary. And at the heart of this struggle is the creation of technical control centers that are preparing for the use of the famous CT2RM. To oppose this event, bikers from each department are taking measures. They contact centers in their geographic area and identify those who are preparing to perform CT2RM. Their purpose? Blacklist these centers, thus eliminating them from your selection.

A call for a boycott

The motoring community is urged to show solidarity by not driving their cars or other two-wheeled vehicles to these centers anymore. Boycott is their weapon and recalcitrant centers are now blacklisted. On its website, the organization explains that “we invite you to take your car (and any cars in your household) to centers that have decided do not install a motorcycle inspection and… so boycott others. It’s you, it’s all of us, we have the means to decide the future of motorcycle CT! “. In addition, she also emphasizes that “if the center is missing, don’t hesitate to let us know, we will call them.” Through this approach, FFMC hopes to raise public awareness and put pressure on the authorities to review the implementation of CT2RM. The confrontation between by bikers and regulators is far from over, and the FFMC remains committed to protecting the rights of motorized two-wheelers.
