Resistance that is durable
Technical inspection has existed in France for quite some time and is mandatory for all cars. However, there are still some exceptions, including for unlicensed cars and motorized two-wheelers. But this is changing under leadership European Union as well as the government. Thus, from April 15, motorcycles and scooters will have to pass this examination, despite the controversy that has been going on for several years. Faced with this contested measure, bikers then organized for resistance and considered more radical actions than simple demonstrations. Some go so far as to mention civil disobedience. This is confirmed by representatives of the French Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC) in Jura. The latter actually state to our colleagues from Actu.fr that “we will certainly call for disobedience so that bikers do not undergo CT”.
Inspection is theoretically mandatory for all cars. But there are models exempt from any checks! https://t.co/fLJLrlczh5

Several events are planned
But that’s not all, because bikers have absolutely no intention of allowing this. The representative of the organization explains that ” we will take the same actions as planned at the national level. Census of control centers that will carry out technical inspection of motorcycles, and in return they will no longer have our cars (…) judicial protection…“. Furthermore, the demonstrators are not alone in their struggle as they are also supported by some members of the body politic, including MPs and senators. The latter have just signed a letter on a moratorium on the establishment of mandatory technical inspection for two-wheeler owners. The latter will be handed over to Transport Minister Patrice Vergriete. But already for the purpose of entry into force of technical control motorized two-wheelers (CT2RM), technical control centers are mobilized. This is, for example, the case of Autovision, which took a significant step forward by getting its network approved and creating the Motovision organization.
