Now you can order your restyled Volkswagen Golf

This is an important model for the German manufacturer: the Volkswagen Golf is celebrating its 50th anniversary and is one of the brand’s bestsellers with more than 37 million copies sold since 1974. On this occasion, Volkswagen is launching a restyling of the eighth generation of its compact car: orders are now open at prices from 29,990 euros in France.
there Volkswagen Golf restyling received numerous improvements, such as updated exterior styling, new LED lights, as well as an illuminated Volkswagen logo on the front. Inside, the infotainment system has received a major upgrade, getting a 12.9-inch touchscreen and now featuring AI with ChatGPT integration.
Orders are open in France with 6 trim levels: “Golf”, “Life Plus”, “Style” and “R-Line”, as well as special series “VW Edition” and “Style Edition 50”. Depending on the configuration, three petrol engines are offered: a 1.5 TSI with a capacity of 116 hp in a manual transmission and two 1.5 eTSI micro-hybrid engines with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission with a capacity of 116 hp and 150 hp. The first deliveries will take place during June 2024, while the other engines are scheduled for the second quarter of 2024: TDI, eHybrid, GTE and GTI diesel.

Details about the special launch series

To mark this important anniversary, two special launch series are also offered on this new restyled Volkswagen Golf: the VW edition, available only as a sedan, costs €31,400. It adds Keyless Access keyless entry/start, metallic paint, Light Assist automatic high beam, tinted rear windows, anti-theft alarm and 17-inch Nottingham alloy wheels to the Life Plus trim.
Series Stylish edition 50 is based on the Golf Style and benefits from ’50’ badging on the door pillars and steering wheel, black headliner, 18-inch ‘Leeds’ alloy wheels, brushed stainless steel pedal kit, driving profile selector, door sill plates Edition 50″, as well as tinted rear windows. It is priced at €39,350, or €1,500 less than the Style trim.
Sprat parameters such as a panoramic sunroof (€1,060), rear side airbags (€395), a winter package (€490) with heated front seats and a multifunction sports steering wheel, a head-up display (€655) or even a camera are offered. 360° overview of the area (410 euros).
