
Focus on the latest Fisker software update
Fisker has just announced the details of its premiere remote software update (OTA) from 2024 for its SUV Fisker Oceanbaptized Ocean OS 2.0. This provides a number of improvements to the performance, transmission, SolarSky solar panel, energy management and user experience.
Starting this week and throughout February 2024Fisker will offer its customers the new version of Fisker Ocean OS 2.0 gradually through a series of three remote updates.
This update especially brings productivity improvement 100% electric SUV with improved power management and energy saving, reduced loss of state of charge (SoC) when parked, cabin heating and cooling calibration changes to improve fogging, improved heating/cooling performance in Earth mode, ability to upgrade while the vehicle is plugged in , audio tweaks to improve bass on the Ultra and Extreme/One models, improved key sensitivity, and improved accuracy of the day counter and energy counter.
Ocean OS 2.0: new features
The Ocean OS 2.0 update also brings new opportunities to Ocean customers as best as possible torque distribution front/rear on 45/55, improved sports behavior on all-wheel drive versions (One, Extreme and Ultra), new function automatic holding of the car on the riseas well as a stability control system to mitigatetrailer swinging.
The Fisker Ocean also gets a new system cleaning of brake discs in rainy weather that automatically removes water from disc surfaces to improve braking performance, and users can now customize the waiting time of the infotainment system, to reduce battery usage and increase the range of your car. Different users will now also be able to save their settings (comfort, air conditioning, sound, privacy, etc.) in conductor profiles.
Finally, on the Extreme and One models, a new SolarSky energy meterpresent in the Charge/Energy menu on the center touchscreen, now indicates the amount of energy supplied to the car by the solar panel.
Other updates are also planned by Fisker sometime in 2024.
