
Nissan Interstar: the new updated Renault Master IV
Nissan has just introduced the third generation of its large van Nissan Interstar, which uses a 100% electric motor called Interstar-e for the first time. As with previous opuses, the Japanese manufacturer has joined forces with Renault and this new Interstar is none other than redesigned version of Renault Master of the latest generationrecently introduced.
Nissan Interstar III is particularly distinguished by the front end: it has the advantages of a specific lattice featuring four horizontal chrome stripes on each side, as well as the striking ‘Interstar’ lettering on the front, not forgetting the Nissan logo at its centre. Like its French cousin, it benefits from careful design to optimize aerodynamics with a 20% reduction in SCx.
The Nissan Interstar offers a wide range, including numerous factory modifications: van, deep cab, chassis, tipper and flatbed to meet the needs of all professional customers, as well as a maximum load capacity of 2500 kg, which allows it to tow heavy loads.
Opening of orders in March 2024
Under the hood, in addition to traditional diesel engines, we find the Interstar-e a for the first time 100% electric motorizationcoupled with an 87kWh battery that gives it a range of over 460 kilometers. A more modest 40 kWh version offers about 200 km of autonomy.
The new Interstar is equipped as standard numerous security systems, including Forward Emergency Braking, Drowsiness Warning, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and Trailer Sway Control System, making driving with a trailer safer. Passenger comfort was taken care of on board, including heated seats and windshield, as well as durable seat covers.
Orders for the new Nissan Interstar will open in the month March 2024and the first deliveries are expected at the end of summer 2024. Like the Renault Master, the new Interstar is produced in Francein Batia in the Moselle (57).
The Interstar comes with a Nissan manufacturer’s warranty of 5 years or 100,000 miles, or 8 years or 100,000 miles for the Interstar-e battery.
