Rising price

We know that the Paris town hall is not really an ardent defender of the car, on the contrary. Anne Hidalgo is even categorically against it, and is doing everything possible to make life impossible for motorists, hoping that they will no longer drive in the capital. To do this, it relies on a pedestrian zone, like on rue Rivoli, and other restrictive measures for everyone. But that’s not all, because the deputy took up parking and continues remove places lustfully This makes life much more difficult for drivers, who sometimes have no other option than a car to get to Paris. But Ann Hidalgo will go even further. In fact, the introduction of a much higher special rate on SUVs has been mentioned for several months. Well, that will now become a reality as voting has been organized this Sunday. But when will this price increase be officially implemented?

For this summer

Well, the decision to parking is tripled in price for SUVs, approved in a vote on Sunday, February 4, will take effect this summer. In fact, this is what Ann Hidalgo announced on her WhatsApp feed, stating that “the price will be applied from September 1st. This event was also confirmed on BFMTV by David Bellard, deputy (EELV) of the Paris City Hall, but with a slight nuance. And for good reason, this measure still has to be brought up for discussion at the Paris Council, scheduled for the month of May. In fact, he explains that “the result is obvious, so we will do it. We are going to present the discussion to the Paris Council in May, and I think we will be able to implement it effectively at the beginning of the school year. By the way, this decision was supported by 54% of voters, but only 5.68% of participation. Thus, out of 78,121 people, only 42,000 voted in favor, while Paris has 1.3 million residents of voting age.
