The start of this year is an opportunity for car manufacturers to take stock of their sales and commercial performance over the past year. THE Group Renault therefore welcomes significant worldwide sales growth of +9% compared to 2022.

Renault: the best-selling French brand in the world

In France, Renault recorded 277,914 sales (+18%) of passenger cars and 112,569 sales (+13%) of passenger cars. Clio became the best-selling model in the domestic market with 111,741 registrations in 2023 and third on the sales podium in Europe with more than 219,365 units sold.

Like its competitors, Renault is betting on the electrification of its model range: 270,362 electrified cars were sold, accounting for 39.7% of the brand’s passenger car sales. Hybrid cars, sold in the amount of 185,666 units, showed a 62% increase in sales.

Dacia: sales increased by 17.4%

Alpine: strong progress in Europe
