After sending the 100% electric Ariya on an expedition around the world, the Japanese manufacturer is using the winter season to introduce Mountain savior Nissan X-Trail : an exclusive vehicle modified for the needs of the mountain rescue service and designed to raise awareness among skiers in European resorts while demonstrating the benefits of its e-4orce four-wheel drive system.

Nissan X-Trail Mountain Rescue: ready for winter

Nissan X-Trail Mountain Rescue received numerous modifications, the most obvious of which is the replacement of wheels with snow tracks, to improve its grip on snowy tracks, as well as widen the front and rear fenders. The front panel has been modified to accommodate a winch, complete with reinforced tow hooks front and rear.
