Electric cars have been gaining momentum for some time now. And this is not surprising, as the offer continues to grow, offering motorists much more choice. But that’s not all, because many of them also choose this engine to a gesture for the environment, even if we know that this alternative is not always without its drawbacks. And, of course, there’s always the environmental bonus, which also encourages some undecided people to take the plunge more easily. And this is even if the government has been screwing the nuts for years.

A small mistake
And for good reason, since last December 15r, some electric vehicles, including those from China, are no longer eligible for this financial assistance. But that’s not all, because the state has also decided to reduce the maximum amount of the premium, which goes from 5,000 euros last year to only 4,000 euros. Quite a drop when we know it was capped at €6,000 two years ago. But a little bit of government tinkering meant the bonus was still at €5,000 at the start of the year. This discovery was made by the journalists of Les Echos, who discovered a very surprising flaw. But don’t worry, we’ll explain!
Not forever
Indeed, it turns out to be a ratifying decree transition to 4000 euros the bonus material just hasn’t been released yet. This means that it cannot yet be applied and the amount currently remains at €5,000, the same as last year. But be careful, because you suspect it won’t last long. If you want to buy an electric car, we can only advise you to decide quickly and not wait to sign the order form before it’s too late!
