That’s it, 2024 is finally here, and with it, obviously, many new features will appear, sometimes long-awaited. It’s also time for facelifts and other small mid-range facelifts to allow the models already on the market to stay in the running in the face of increasingly stiff competition. And this is exactly what Skoda is working on. The firm, based in the Czech Republic, is in the process of completion restyling of his Octaviathe current generation of which was released in 2020. Therefore, it is time to update the successful compact car from the affordable brand of the Volkswagen concern.

The first teaser

One day, as is customary, it was on Twitter, or rather X, that the manufacturer posted his news. Yes, the latter published a short video with wishes for the new year. And he especially used the opportunity to tease his own new restyled Octavia. However, you’ll still have to be a little patient before you see his final lines, as only his light signature is currently shown. The latter is evolving and seems to be becoming more aggressive, while it is likely that the shields are also evolving to a lesser extent. But that remains to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

An inevitable discovery

Fortunately, you won’t have to wait long, as the official presentation of the new version is scheduled for next February. Then we should know a little more about the driving seat, which is not mentioned at all at this point. The same goes for the engine lineup, which should remain very close to the version currently on the market. We will no doubt have to wait until the next generation to see the arrival of a 100% electric option, which is not yet relevant at the moment.
