During the press conference on the sidelines of the announcement of the economic results of the group, the announcement of a new Renault Twingo caused a sensation. And for good reason: the concept faithfully repeats the shape of the original city car from 30 years ago. Intended to replace the current model, which is nearing the end of its career, it should arrive by 2026 and cost less than €20,000 in the basic version.

If the photos reveal no major surprises, we can still see 5 doors (instead of 3 on the first Twingo of 1992). It also appears to open with a handle hidden in the window frame.

From the front, the light design is immediately reminiscent of the Twingo 1, as are the three squares on the hood air intakes original model. Even if it is still a concept car, the final model should come very close to these lines.
