The TDI engines will be available in 110, 150 and 170 horsepower versions, while the plug-in hybrid version will develop a combined output of 233 horsepower. The electric motors will be available in 116, 136, 218 and 286 horsepower versions, combined with 83 kWh batteries (54 kWh for the 116 horsepower version). The TDI and eHybrid models are available in front-wheel drive versions, and 4Motion all-wheel drive is optional starting with the TDI 150. All-electric versions are rear-wheel drive, with an all-wheel drive option coming later. .
The new Transporter is offered in Germany from €36,780for the entry-level version with the TDI 110 engine. Prices for the French market will be announced later.
