Since its launch in 2013 Renault Kaptur quickly became one of the French manufacturer’s bestsellers. Its second generation, on sale from the beginning of 2020, will soon celebrate its fourth anniversary: like the Clio V, it will receive mid-career restyling.
If no information has been officially released yet, it’s complete leaked patent image from WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organizationor the World Intellectual Property Organization) that we are already revealing the appearance of the updated version of Captur.
Renault Captur restyling: a more aggressive style
In this series of fairly simple images on a white background, we find the elements design of the future restyled Renault Captur IIwhich corresponds to the stylistic direction of the latest models of the brand, such as the restyled Clio V, Renault Rafale or the new Renault Scenic E-Tech.
The most important changes can be found at front edge : hood, shield, optics… Everything changes to adopt a much more aggressive style than today. In particular, the front lights are narrower and end a vertical light signature in the form of arrows placed on both sides of the front shield. The latter is equipped with a double air intake, more imposing, and ends with a radiator grille with a new Renault logo in the center.
Launch is expected in 2024
At the rear, the style does not change radically, except for the arrangement of elements on the lower skirt of the rear bumper, and we should also find new logo brand The alloy wheels also have a completely new look, in this example the two-tone model combines black and polished surfaces.
No pictures of the interior have leaked, but we should find some more discreet improvements, such as the appearance of a new touchscreen equipped with the latest OpenR Link infotainment system from Renault.
The presentation of the restyled Renault Captur is expected spring 2024on the occasion of the Geneva Motor Show, which will open its doors to the public from February 26 to March 3, 2024. Several new products will be unveiled on the occasion, such as the new 100% electric Renault 5 E-Tech, which will make its first mass bath there.
