Mandatory visit every 15 years
It played out precision but the text hardening the rules are accepted this Thursday, December 7th. with 22 votes for and 21 votes against, so MEPs approved measurements seeking to lower mortality on the roads of Europe.
This text provides, in particular, a mandatory medical examination every 15 years (motorcycles, cars, tractors) and every 5 years (trucks and buses).
It medical visit should include, in particular, a vision test, as well as several other tests determine.
By adopting this law, MEPs want to update current legislation starting with 2006 year.
Probation period for young drivers
Another important measure is to have a probationary period of at least two years after obtaining a driver’s license.
It probation will allow to the authorities prohibit exceeding the alcohol threshold 0.2 g/l of blood.
