A few years ago, Dacia suffered from a rather disappointing image as a somewhat cheap, budget brand. It’s true that the Romanian manufacturer sold the cheapest cars on the market, and it still does. But at the price of a rather unsuccessful finish. This, however, did not prevent him from achieving some success. But over the years, the latter has gained an even greater scale, and Dacia has established itself as a real phenomenonwith cars included in the top 10 best sellers.

SUV strategy

Such a success that an inexpensive manufacturer represents no less than 30% of Renault group sales. This is huge! All with very high margins because its cars contain elements of diamond brand cars. But this is still not enough for Dacia, which wants to go further. And for this, the company will focus on SUVs. The latter really enjoy great success among buyers, and the manufacturer intends to continue this trend. This is how he has just given a good introduction to the new generation of his Duster, which is already attracting a lot of attention.

But that’s not all, because other relief models are also planned a little later. The goal? Allow Dacia occupies 80% of the market, maintaining a high margin. Thus, we should soon also discover the Bigster, a large family SUV with a length of 4.6 meters. The latter should show a margin of 15%, which is huge. And it is possible that other long-legged models will appear a little later.
