
After launching in various markets around the world, the Subaru Solterra is now arriving in Europe, and more precisely In France where its marketing has just been launched. Subaru’s first 100% electric car didn’t start from scratch, as it is the result of a partnership with Toyota. As such, the Solterra shares many elements with the Toyota bZ4X and Lexus RZ and uses the Japanese group’s e-TNGA platform.
Under the hood we find a double electric motor with a total power 218 horsepower, transmitted to four-wheel drive. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 160 km/h. A lithium-ion battery has a capacity 71.4 kWhoffering autonomy to 465 km. It is compatible with DC fast charging of up to 150 kW.
Subaru Solterra: two configurations
The model range of Subaru Solterra consists only of two configurations, which are called “Comfort” and “Lux”. Prices are displayed from €59,990 for the Comfort version and from 63,990 euros for the Luxury version.
Basic level Comfort has numerous standard equipment such as LED headlights, power driver’s seat, heated front seats, hands-free entry and start, electric parking brake, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, multimedia system with 12.3-inch touchscreen and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a wide range of driver assistance systems and active and passive safety systems.
Version Luxury adds additional comfort equipment to the battery, such as an electric passenger seat, a panoramic glass roof, 20-inch wheels, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, TEP upholstery, an induction charger or even a Harman Kardon audio system.
Special launch offer
To support its launch, Subaru is offering a special offer to purchase its Solterra as a long-term lease with a down payment. from €424 per month.
The offer is valid from December 1 to 15, 2023 for the contract from LLD 37 months and 30,000 km, to finance the Subaru Solterra Comfort. The first rent is increased by 10,000 euros, including 5,000 euros corresponding to the size of the environmental bonus. The next 36 monthly rents are €424 excluding insurance.
This offer is for individuals and is valid on any purchase of a new Subaru Solterra ordered on or before December 15, 2023 and delivered on or before March 15, 2024, while stocks last.
