For many years, technical inspection has been mandatory for cars. The goal? Make sure they are always in good working order and always meet current standards. But the government wants to go further and expand the scope of this mandatory examination. Indeed, from next year, in accordance with European directives, the MOT will also apply to cars without a license, as well motorcycles. And this, obviously, is not very pleasing to those who are affected by it, who multiply all kinds of protest demonstrations.

New action

A few days ago the bikers of the FFMC (French Federation of Angry Bikers) gathered again to protest against this measure. And this time they implemented a completely new promotion, which did not forget about the reaction. In fact, the demonstrators did “technical inspection” of roads, to ask the government about the state of the latter. To do this, they marked the tracks to indicate dangerous elements such as potholes and other gaps, among others. But that’s not all.

Report to the government

For bikers, ” if our leaders put as much enthusiasm into (…) maintaining our infrastructure, the benefits would not only benefit motorcyclists, but cyclists and motorists as well. In other words, take care of your roads, we take care of our motorcycles“. FFMC planssend a report on the condition of the roads to the mayors of the respective cities, as well as to the government, to challenge the state authorities on the situation.
