This type of braking is definitely dangerous, especially if the traffic is heavy, and can obviously cause accidents.

How does this device work?

To combat this phenomenon, a new camera will be launched in the United Kingdom detect drivers who suddenly slow down when approaching a speed camera.

The cameras have already been successfully tested in Spain. They also work by placing the mobile device in a different location from the fixed radar, thus allowing it to detect speeding drivers immediately after passing the first small gray box.

If we’ve already had to pay attention to fixed and mobile radars, we may soon have to be vigilant about the cameras that precede them as well as those that follow.
