Despite the confidence in the future of autonomous vehicles, a large part of the population does not feel ready to cede control to a car. Difficult autumn weather conditions further increase fears, more than two-thirds of French people express their disbelief in the ability of autonomous vehicles to handle such situations.

83% of them also worry about the cyber security of these connected cars, which could become a new preferred target for hackers.
