Today, navigation and driver assistance apps are everywhere, and almost everyone has at least one on their smartphone. Obviously, we’re thinking of Google Maps, but also of Waze, which currently has over 140 million users worldwide. A true success story for a company founded in Israel in 2008, but launched outside its home country two years later. Then it was bought by Google in 2013. Today, the latter is almost necessary for many drivers.

New feature

It must be said that the latter has many very practical features. Indeed, it now points to pfight fee as well as fuel, not to mention that it warns of railroad crossings and displays advanced real-time information about road conditions. But now the community program will become even more practical in the coming months. And it is not for nothing that Waze reports in the press release that it will be so indicate the presence of dangerous roads soon to its users.

Accurate data

On its website, Google explains that “ these notifications are dynamic and responsive current traffic conditions and roads, day of the week, time of day, and recent accident reports“. The app then builds on alerts launched by other users, so it’s important to report accidents if you come across them. Note that Waze does not distinguish between major and minor accidents to indicate that one road is more dangerous than another.
