Volkswagen Tiguan III: 5 trim levels and 3 engines
The new Tiguan is offered in France from 5 trim levels: Tiguan, Life Plus, Elegance, R-Line and R-Line Exclusive, the most richly equipped version. We find under the hood 3 engines Volkswagen’s turbocharged engines, all linked to a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox: a 150bhp 2.0 TDI diesel, as well as two petrol engines with a mild hybrid, the 1.5 eTSI, available in 130bhp and 150bhp.
Entry level decoration Tiguan has plenty of standard equipment including 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, 10-inch digital cockpit, automatic air conditioning, Keyless Go, wireless App-Connect with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, Lane Lane keeping assistant, Side Assist blind spot detector and Front Assist emergency braking assistant.
Decoration “Life Plus” adds Park Assist, adaptive and predictive cruise control ACC with speed limiter, dual induction charger, tri-zone automatic air conditioning, 10-color ambient lighting or even the Discover Media infotainment system with a 12.9-inch screen.
Version “Elegance” adds to the standard equipment 18-inch wheels, semi-autonomous driving assistant Travel Assist, IQ.Light HD Matrix LED headlights with Dynamic Light Assist system, Park Assist Pro with remote parking function (via smartphone), Area View perimeter inspection system, panoramic sunroof, opening and hands-free trunk closing, as well as keyless entry and keyless start.
Decoration “R-Line” is based on the “Life Plus” version and adds the R-Line exterior package with special front and rear bumpers, anodized roof rails, 19-inch wheels, R-Line interior package, aluminum pedals, sports seats with integrated headrests and fabric, as well as “ArtVelours” upholstery, LED Plus headlights in combination with front and rear light strips, and ErgoActive driver’s seat with massage function.
Finally a version “Exclusive R-Line” adds IQ.Light HD Matrix LED projectors, panoramic sunroof, semi-autonomous driving assistant Travel Assist, Park Assist Pro, Area View perimeter view system, Harman Kardon premium audio system, front seats with power, heating, ventilation and massage with memory function, Open for yourself the Pro infotainment system and its 15-inch screen, as well as the “Vienna R-Line” leather upholstery.
