If you regularly stock up on fuel, you’ve probably noticed that prices have remained relatively stable for a few weeks, but remain very high. Of course, diesel recorded a small drop a few days ago, but it was short-lived and, above all, we cannot talk about a real drop. However, it is true that the rise in the cost of energy has slowed somewhat, with 5.2% increase over a year, and for the month of September – by 12% compared to last year. Which still remains very high.
Europe has agreed to end the heat engine by 2035. However, the fuel tax is an important source of revenue for the French state. https://t.co/M17WH4kOC3

Very high prices
Such a slowdown can be explained, in particular, by numerous commercial offers from various brands. We are thinking, for example, about a liter for 1 euro, as well as the cost of fuel, which many distributors offer. But then should we expect prices to drop in the coming months? Well, unfortunately, no. At least, that’s what Francis Pousse, the national president of the Mobilians fuel distributor branch, explains. Indeed, for him ” you will have to get used to it stable expensive fuel. We are not going to go down to 1.50 euros per liter tomorrow“.
What are the reasons?
In fact, several things account for this upward trend, which is expected to continue. To start with various geopolitical conflicts, both in the Middle East and in Ukraine. But that’s not all, because we also have to deal with the drop in oil production, which OPEC countries decided to keep prices high. This goes hand-in-hand with demand that continues to be strong, which in turn drives up gas prices.
