In recent months, more and more Chinese manufacturers are trying their luck on the European market. This was particularly evident during the recent Paris Motor Show, where several Asian brands were present, including Ora and BYD, among others. Which doesn’t sit too well with the European Union, which recently launched an investigation into the Chinese government accused of subsidizing domestic manufacturers to allow them to display ridiculously low prices. In a word, unfair competition in the opinion of Brussels.
There is an exception to the end of sales of diesel cars in 2035, voted by the European Parliament: luxury cars (Ferrari, etc.). Of course, there are not many of them, so the emissions will be limited, but for the symbol and social justice, it will be necessary to return pic.twitter.com/6gPS9lc6ZE

European factory
But this does not prevent Chinese brands from continuing their path and wanting to offer themselves a place of choice in the European market. This is, for example, the case of MG, which is a hit here with its MG 4, or even BYD, which is starting to integrate well on the Old Continent. So much so that now he plans to create a factory here. The goal? Produce their cars on European soil so they can always have the right to them environmental bonus next year as the government plans to tighten regulations. And first of all, exclude Chinese cars from the system.
Site in Hungary
If at the moment the manufacturer has not yet made an official statement, then they say that he has decided to implement its first European factory in Hungary. If France was mentioned at all, the crackdown on Chinese brands with increased fines has no doubt dissuaded BYD from setting up there. The manufacturer claims that official announcements regarding this factory will be made soon, while remaining very tight-lipped about its plans for now.
