Suzuki Vitara was born in 1988, the first generation was first sold in Japan and a year later was exported to the United States under the name Sidekick. More than 30 years have passed since the small cult 4X4 was present in the catalog of the Japanese firm, obviously with a very modernized design and a more complete set of services. The current version was introduced in 2015, officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show that year as a concept before taking its first steps in front of the public at the Paris Motor Show a few months later.

Exclusive design
But if the small Japanese SUV is making waves today, it’s because the manufacturer has just opened the curtain on a new special series. The latter was named Grand Large and was inspired by the world of the sea, and the manufacturer has been a partner in several sailing races over the years. But then, what makes this version different? First of all, its color Body Sphere Blue Pearl, combined with a gray metal roof and alloy wheels. We also note the front bumper bar, as well as black inserts.
Lots of equipment
On board the SUV is an analog clock with Japanese kanji, as well as generous equipment. The latter includes, among other things, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as heated front seats and a rearview camera. The SUV is available with two hybrid engines with a capacity of 115 and 129 horsepower. Limited to just 750 examples, this special Grand Large series is priced from €26,590 and is available in dealerships now.
