THE Tokyo show opens its doors from October 25 to November 5, 2023, and is an opportunity for car manufacturers to present their latest innovations. Of course, there are Japanese brands, and Lexus use this event to uncover some clues about your future models.

On this occasion, Lexus confirms its commitment to sell only electric cars until 2035, with the appearance of many new models. To help us wait, the Lexus booth at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 is showing off several new products, including an all-electric concept car: a sedan. Lexus LF-ZC (By Lexus Future catalyst with zero emission).

Lexus LF-ZC: see you in 2026

As the name suggests, the Lexus LF-ZC concept is a catalyst for the new technologies that will appear in the brand’s future electric vehicles, and heralds the style of the next models in the line. Stretching The length is 4.75 meters1.88 meters wide and 1.39 meters tall, all with a 2.89 meter wheelbase, the LF-ZC adopts smooth proportions, a low center of gravity and a futuristic and athletic design designed for aerodynamic performance: Lexus announces compact Cd knife 0.2.

Technically, Lexus doesn’t provide information about its engine 100% electricbut specifies that its future next-generation electric vehicles will be equipped advanced high performance batteries, featuring a prismatic structure to increase range while reducing weight to maximize vehicle efficiency and battery performance. The in-floor battery provides a smoother design and a more attractive silhouette, while the low center of gravity provides better driving dynamics. These technologies come from the development of the Lexus RZ, for example Direct4 all-wheel drive as well as electric steering Steer-by-Wire.

At the forefront of technology

Inside, Lexus has created a futuristic interior, with durable materials for example, bamboo, whose fibers are used in various decorative elements, as well as textiles from fabric woven using bamboo threads.

There is an improved instrument cluster that emphasizes technology, with a many screens : around the rectangular steering wheel we find two small screens, including a screen on the left that acts as a touch-sensitive gear selector, a small screen on the right to access useful functions, a digital instrument panel at the top, and a large panoramic panel that occupies the entire space between the center of the instrument panel and the front passenger area.

Thanks to “Artificial Intelligencethe advanced voice assistant system allows you to communicate with a real butler, who provides recommendations on the route and driving modes depending on the habits and mood of the driver.
