After restyling Tesla Model 3presented to IAA Munich Last September, the Internet was flooded with new rumors.
But where did the Performance version go?
If the Model 3 is currently sold in version Occasion (from €42,990) and in version Full drive (Twin engine for €50,990), one model has disappeared. Version Productivity actually not in the catalog!
But don’t panic, she’s coming. An item found in a parts catalog published by Tesla provided a major clue. Posted by The Kilowatts (@klwtts) account on X (formerly Twitter), the blogger revealed a clue that predicts the future Plaid option !

Is the upcoming Model 3 plaid planned?
The images are taken from the user manual of the new one Tesla Model 3 Highland, we find a fairly clear icon. The small flag placed above “Twin Engine” is none other than the one present on versions of Throw Blanket on Model S AND x. He’s referring to the Ludicrous mode, which lets you use all the power possible from your Tesla. Useful for launching cannons in ” launch control »!
Everything suggests that the sports versions will be models “Plaid” therefore in the future. The leaked photos also helped to confirm that the car is expected to get a much improved, stiffer suspension as well as new rims. Braking power will also be greatly improved.
That’s what it will be called Productivity Or Plaid ? Either way, we’ll have an answer in the coming months!
