Having recently arrived in France, Vinfast is one of the Asian manufacturers trying their luck in the European market and intending to make a good place for themselves there. Thus, a Vietnamese firm founded by a billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong took its first steps in France during the Paris Motor Show in October 2022. And now its marketing has started here, and the showroom has opened in Paris. So it seems that things are going well for the manufacturer, whose sales are also good.

Great success
In fact, the firm just crossed paths the mark of 10,000 cars delivered worldwide in one quarter. So, good progress for Vinfast, which recorded a turnover of 324 million euros. An increase of 3.8% compared to last year. Apparently, things are going well for the manufacturer, which doesn’t seem too concerned about its €590m net loss. Because in reality, the situation is not so rosy for a brand that would sell its cars at a loss. And for good reason, most won’t be delivered to “real” customers!
Sale of the company
In fact, at least 65% of the cars sold by the brand are actually sold GSM and taxi rental company, created at the beginning of the year by Vingroup. Which is none other than Vinfast’s parent company. However, the manufacturer wants to reassure and explains that the last ” has sufficient potential for growth in the coming years and will continue to look for opportunities to strengthen its balance sheet“. In France alone, Vinfast plans to sell at least 40,000 cars this year.
